Solution
Red
Red charge light.
Consumers are
turned off (12/24V
light off).
Battery deeply discharged.
Usual behaviour: Light turns
green as soon as the battery
is charged.
Red + Flash
12V output light:
Blinking red
Solar charge
controller in a
protection state,
turn off the
12V/24V output.
Overconsumption.
The consumer
s’
consumption
exceeds the rating power of
the solar charge controller.
Reduce consumers. (see
controlled output)
Then restart the 12V output.
Consumers will be powered
within 3 seconds.
Output short circuit
Check connections.
In case of 1st short circuit,
solar charge controller will
automatically resume
recharging consumers within
10 seconds.
In case of 2
nd
short circuit,
you need to restart the 12V
output by pushing the
button. Consumers will be
recharged within 3 seconds.
Battery lights:
- AGM,
- Gel
- Liquid
Blinking
simultaneously
Thermal protection: solar
charge controller internal
temperature exceeds 85°C.
Solar charge controller in
protection mode. Charge and
consumers are cut off
Wait the end of the cooling-
off period (<75°C)
Control the source of the
overheating (mounting
location, other heat sources).
Provide an adequate
ventilation to the solar
charge controller
As soon as the solar charge
controller gets back to its
normal functionning
temperature, it will restart
automatically.
