Scenario III - Trigger Security Alarm
While security ban has been put, disconnect Pin 5
(SAFE) to Pin 10 (GND) to loosen the loop. The
loosened loop triggers the security alarm, and
message “SecuredAlarm” displays on the standby
screen.
Press “
À
” button to enter the security setting
screen. Current security status, Secured, displays
on the screen. Swipe your card on the Proximity
Reader, the security status switches to Secure-
dRelease indicating security ban has been lifted.
Message “SecuredAlarm” disappears on the
standby screen. Check the loop and reconnect Pin
5 (SAFE) to Pin 10 (GND).
Anti-Pass Back Setting
You can enforce Anti-Pass Back to control the entrance/ exit behavior and prevent unauthorized
access. Follow instructions below to utilize MTTool to prohibit same card re-entering and re-exiting
through the same door.
1.
Connect a secondary reader to MT180 via Drive RS232.
NOTE:
While MT180 serves as an internal reader, the secondary reader is the external reader.
Make sure your card type is compatible with the internal/ external reader.
2.
Set MT180 and your computer on the same subnet network.
3.
