Chapter 6 – Profile Repository
Profile is a series of parameters (as shown in Figure 6.1) in RFID reader.
These parameters determine the behavior of reader for different environment.
For example, Power, literally, strength of RSSI signal, determines the
acceptable communicative distance between reader and tag. If user is in a
place where EPC tags are close to reader, then, it recommends using lower
power to save reader battery. The others parameters will be explained in
Appendix A specifically. In this chapter, only TagAccess UI and function will be
introduced.

Settings - Profile
1. User can add, edit or delete profile manually for different scene
individually with different mode.
2. To switch profile, there are five places to modify:
a. Settings - Inventory
b. Settings - Data Wedge
