The Unison i-XT is designed to be used with or without the
Unison iPod Docking system. Please see the instructions
below on how to connect your iPod and then choose your
preferred method of operation.

Step 2a: Connecting your iPod to Unison i-XT & Dock

a) The universal Unison iPod Dock is designed to work with all

iPods with a dock connector. We have included adaptors to fit
each iPod model. Please select the correct dock adaptor for
your iPod from the adaptors included and insert it into the
top of the Unison Dock.

b)  Slide your iPod onto the Unison Dock connector. The iPod

should show that it is charging or is charged (when speaker is
powered on).

c)  Select your preferred operating settings such as preferred track,

play lists, EQ and output volume on your iPod.

d) For viewing video footage, connect the S-video cable to the dock and

into your television. This requires an iPod with video capabilities.

e) To sync your iPod with your computer, connect the included USB

cable from the dock to your computer. Your iTunes should
automatically start after a short while and sync with your iPod.

f)  Press play on your iPod and adjust the volume via the +/-

buttons on the Unison Dock or on the front of the Unison i-XT
speaker.

g)  Alternatively, the iPod and Unison Dock can be controlled via

the full featured Unison i-XT remote.

Step 2b: Connecting your iPod to Unison i-XT without
the Dock

a) Locate the 3.5 mm to RCA cable included & plug the 3.5 mm

plug into the headphone jack on your iPod or MP3 player.

b)  Plug the RCA (Red & White plugs) into the matching Red &

White ‘LINE INPUT’ ports on the back of the speaker.

c)  Select your preferred operating settings such as preferred

track, play lists, EQ and volume on your iPod or MP3 player.

d)  Press play on your iPod or MP3 player and adjust the volume

via your player or on the front of the Unison i-XT speaker.
