Explanation of the Alarm Detection Function

Chapter

6

Alarm can be output as a contact signal that can be utilized for emergency stoppage of system and
so on, when voltage, current or electric power exceeds the set value.
Measurements in between seven seconds before and three seconds after the alarm is detected are
recorded in the main unit 10 times per second.
This can be used for examining the cause and mechanism of faults occurred.
A single item from voltage, current or electric power is settable for each of the two settings.
The order of priority is voltage > current > electric power.
For example, when UV interphase voltage and effective power are set, only the UV interphase
voltage is enabled and the effective power is canceled.
Same types may be selected multiply.
As for same types, the alarm is detected whenever any one of the selected items exceeds the alarm
detection level.
