Equivalent Input Calibration Operation

Set the rated output value and reading of the sensor.

Cautions for Equivalent Input Calibration
Analog section specification
Signal input range 0 to +2mV/V
Rough adjustment and fine adjustment of zero and gain
Performed by digital computation
Actual load calibration
Perform span calibration after zero calibration.
With the zero calibration status taken into consideration, an error is displayed if the load cell output
at capacity does not fall 2mV/V during span calibration.
Equivalent input calibration
Whether or not the load cell output at capacity is 2mV/V is not checked during span
calibration.
Example) Scale making with: 3mV/V, 3000kg load cell
initial tare 1000kg
capacity 2000kg
* By actual load calibration,
it can be known that such a scale cannot be made.
* By equivalent input calibration,
no error is given, but weighing is possible only up to 1000kg.
( initial tare 1000kg = 2mV/V)
Weighing up to capacity is not possible.

When the initial tare + capacity > 2mV/V, the signal input range is exceeded.
Be aware that a calibration error is given during actual load calibration, but no
calibration error is given during equivalent input calibration.
