SERVICE INFORMATION
To obtain consistent performance over the life of this
machine, read through these instructions and save for
future reference. If you require service, contact your
dealer or the dealer’s authorized service provider.
Always refer to your Limited Warranty for complete
service information.
The model, type and serial number for the machine
are indicated on the data plate on the side of the
handle. For prompt and complete service, refer to
these numbers when inquiring about service.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
When using this floor machine, basic precautions
should always be followed including the following:

Ÿ
This floor machine is equipped with a safety lock
and power switch triggers designed for your safety.
Do not attempt to bypass or defeat the safety
switch lock. Never use any device to lock the
power switch triggers in the “ON” position.
Ÿ
Do not leave the machine alone and unplugged.
Unplug the machine before servicing or changing
brushes or pads.
Ÿ
Do not allow this machine to be used as a toy.
Close attention is necessary when used near
children.
Ÿ
Do not leave the machine connected to an
electrical outlet unattended.
Ÿ
Use only as described in this manual. Use only
with factory recommended attachments.
Ÿ
Do not use this machine with a damaged power
cord or plug. If the machine is not working
properly or has been dropped, damaged or left
outdoors, return to your service provider for
inspection and repair before use.
Ÿ
Use care to keep the electric power cord away
from sharp edges or corners.
Ÿ
Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Ÿ
Connect only to properly grounded (3-wire)
outlets. See Grounding Instructions on Page 4.

Do not use extension cords or outlets with
inadequate current carrying capacity.
Ÿ
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Ÿ
Do not unplug by pulling on the cord. To
unplug, grasp the plug and pull.
Ÿ
Do not handle the plug, cord, or floor machine
with wet hands.
Ÿ
Wind the cord no tighter than necessary to retain
it during storage. See Cord Storage on Page 5.

Use extra care when working on or near stairs.
Ÿ
Do not use in conjunction with flammable or
combustible liquids like gasoline, or use in areas
where explosive vapors or dusts may be present.

Store the machine in a cool, dry area.
Ÿ
Keep your work area well lit.
Ÿ
