At the Sageon 200A, strip the insulation from the cable ends and install a 2-hole crimp-on lug for 3/8"
bolts (1" center-to-center) on each cable end.
CAUTION
The following connections are dependent upon system voltage.
The Sageon 200A is available in a -48V system only.
-48V System:
1)
Secure the negative cable to the negative bus (
right-hand
landing as viewed from the rear).
2)
Secure the positive cable to the positive bus (
left-hand
landing as viewed from the rear).
NOTE:
See Table 2-2 for torque specifications.

At the battery string, strip the wire ends and install the needed battery terminals/clamps.
Confirm
polarity with a voltage meter
and connect the wires to the battery string terminals.

Repeat the above steps for each battery string to be connected.
2.6 CONNECTING CUSTOMER LOADS
Customer loads are (See Section 2.14) connected directly to the Sageon 200A DC distribution “hot” and
return busbars in accordance with site requirements and regulations. Distribution circuit breakers are not
supplied with the Sageon 200A.
Route distribution supply and return cables through overhead cable racks or trays as required.
