Measurement
1.
Insert the pipette tip in the center of the tip port of the instrument. Hold the pipette vertical and
firmly
press the tip
into the port.
NO LIQUID IN THE PIPETTE TIP !
(liquid will permanently damage the instrument)
2.
When the
tip is well inserted on the port
, then press the
Start
button, without moving the pipette.
3.
Just after the “ready” message, quickly
Press
on the pipette piston, while firmly keeping the tip inserted in
the port. The displacement of the piston has to be done in about 1 to 2 seconds, during
the
BLUE
phase of
progress bar
.
Don't press the piston beyond the
first stop
4.
The
progress bar
at the bottom indicates that the instrument is measuring.
The pipette and the piston
should not move when the progress bar is
RED
.
5.
When
release
display appears, move the piston up again, without removing the pipette form the port.
