
3. Removing the expired filter
:
3.1 Please turn off the inlet valve on feed water adapter or shut off cold water supply valve
before replacing the filters.
3.2 After turning off the inlet valve, lift the hoop of the expired filter to the full extent and
keep it in this position.
3.3 Pull the hoop outwards and take out the filter, and wipe off the remaining water with a
towel.
4. Replacing the filter:
4.1 Remove the packaging of the new filter.
4.2 Remove the rubber plugs from the filter. Lift the hoop of the new filter to the full extent
and keep it in this position.
4.3 Insert the bottom of the filter into the recessed hole in the unit then push the filter tightly
into the portlets tightly.
4.4 Press down the hoop. Tug the filter outward to ensure it is securely installed.
4.5 After replacing the filter please turn on the Pureit drinking faucet to flush it prior to
normal use. PGP and CTO filter need to flush for 10 minutes; RO filter need to flush for
2 hours and then let it stand for 24 hours before flushing again for 2 hours.

Resetting the filter
1. Press the button to select the corresponding filter life indicator light of the replaced
filter, until the indicator flashes.
2. Press the button and hold for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns a steady blue
accompanied by the buzzers. The filter element reset is now completed.
