(about 15 hours) before using it.
Registering the Handset
The accessory handset will not work until you register it to
a base! Registering the handset is a separate process from
registering the Repeater. You can use the handset normally
even if the repeater is not registered.

This handset is designed for use with Uniden's XDECT R055 base1

Register the handset
Place the handset in the base1 The display should say
Handset
Registering

After about 30 seconds, the handset display should say
Registration Complete
.
Test the connection
Pick up the handset and press
TAlk
1 Make sure you get a dial tone1
(Press
END
to hang up1)

Making sure the handset is fully charged,
then trying again.
Attaching the Belt Clip
Line up the holes on each side of the handset1 Insert the belt clip
into the holes on each side of the handset1 Press down until it clicks1
To remove the belt clip, pull either side of the belt clip to release the
tabs from the holes1
Make sure that the
charge
LED illuminates when the
handset is seated.
