SETUP DESCRIPTION
Network Setup
Set up Network Connection and Security Code (remote access):
• Static IP – if you are using fixed IP address, please obtain and enter
IP information provided by your local ISP.
• DHCP – if you are using dynamic IP address, select DHCP and there
is no need to enter any additional IP address information.
For Security Code, you may enter your own unique password to avoid
others to have access your security data. Up to 12 alphanumeric
characters can be used.
Click on "OK" to save setting and exit.
Verify the WDVR receiver connects to the router via the provided RJ45
cable. The Network Connection status will be displayed on view screen
via the following icons:
Network connection is normal.
No network connection available.

System Upgrade:
Click on screen any location to begin system upgrade process.
QUAD AND SMART QUAD
The cameras that come with your system are already paired to your WDVR receiver. When the WDVR
receiver is set up and the monoitor is turned on, the cameras’ video automatically displays on the screen
in default (Quad view) mode. You can set video to display in either Quad or Smart Quad view. You can
also set the display to automatically scan the channels in sequence, and to set the duration for either 5 or
10 seconds (see page 17).
Quad View
Quad view divides the viewing screen into 4 equal parts, one part for each potential camera. If less than 4
cameras are set up, that portion of the screen is blank.
1. From the
Quick Select
menu, click the Quad icon (
). Video displays in a four-quadrant display.
2. Left-click on a channel to view that channel’s live video in full screen.
3. Left-click the full screen to return to Quad view.
