Operation

UNIDEN UH5040

UHF CB Transceiver

Roger Beep

A Roger Beep may be added to the end of transmission.

Press

[MENU]

twice. Turn the Channel Selector to display

.

Press and hold

[MENU]

for 3 seconds to store the new setting.

Busy Channel Lockout

If the channel is already in use, you can prevent the UH5040 from

transmitting . This is particularly important when using CTCSS.

Press

3 times. Turn the Rotary Channel Selector to display

Press and hold

[MENU]

for 3 seconds to store the new setting.

NOTE

If a button is not pressed within 10 seconds the UH5040

will automatically exit the Menu Mode.
