Voice-Activated Transmission

Your radio has built-in voice-activated
transmission (VOX) capability. This means the
sound of your voice can activate transmission
with the use of the

optional

VOX headset.

To use this feature:

1. Remove the

speaker/microphone

jack cover.

2. Plug the

optional

VOX

headset into the

speaker/microphone

jacks on the top of

the unit.
