InStaLLIng your phone
If you will be using this unit as a speakerphone, avoid the following locations
when selecting an installation location:
Areas with high background noise. The microphone might pick up these

sounds and prevent the speakerphone from going into receiving mode
when you finish talking.
Surfaces affected by vibration.

Recessed areas such as in a corner, under a cupboard, or next to a cabinet.
•
These locations may cause an echo effect.

CAUTION: To reduce risk of personal injury, fire, or damage, use only
the power adaptor supplied with this product. Orient it in a vertical
or floor mount position.

setup or to answer calls with the default greeting and settings.
NOTE 1: The unit is properly installed if you pick up the handset and
hear a dial tone. Otherwise, recheck all the installation steps.
NOTE 2: In the event of a power outage, your phone will still be
able to make and receive calls; however, the speakerphone and the
answering machine will not be operational.
