Standby Mode

- The handset maybe sitting on or off the cradle, but is NOT in use.

talk/flash

or

has not been

pressed. The corded base handset is on the base and

on the base has not been pressed. No dial

tone is present.

Talk Mode

The handset is off the cradle and

talk/flash

or

has been pressed, or pick up the corded base

handset and

on the base is pressed, enabling a dial tone.
