7.1 Operating conditions

The working area must be dry, fire and explosion pro-
tected and free of any corrosive or poisonous sub-
stances.
The chain hoist. must not be used to lift or move danger-ous
goods such as molten, poisonous or radioactive materials.

The electric chain hoist is not intended for outdoor use. If
outdoor use is required, appropriate roofing of the
electric chain hoist must be provided.

Operating time: 2m/M5   40%

Working cycle 10 minutes, including 4 minutes of opera

-

tion and 6 minutes of rest.

7.2 Electrical connection

Step 1:    Check if the mains voltage complies with the

tension indicated on the type plate..

Step 2:   Connect the mains cable to the power supply

system.

Step 3:    Press the control bar button and check the

function of the electric chain hoist.

Step  4:   If the chain hoist fails to move (phase sequence

safety device has been activated), switch off
the safety device and correct the phase se

-

quence.

7.3 Test run

Before using the chain hoist to lift a load, a no-load test
should be carried out to test all functions.  In particular,
the function of the raising and lowering limits should be
tested.

7.4 Raising a load

Step 1:    Hit the hook of the chain hoist on a suitable an

-

chorage point of the load and check that the
safety of the hook is closed.

Step 2:    Press the button "OPEN" and initially drive only

until the load chain is tensioned.

Step 3:    First, lift the load only a short distance and

check that the chain and load are stable.

Step 4:     Lift the load calmly and evenly upwards.

There is an imminent danger of life in case of con-
tact with life components by electrocution.

-  The chain hoist must only be connected by a quali-

fied electrician.

-  Work on the electrical system may only be carried

out by qualified electricians.

ATTENTION!

Devices with 400 V / 3-phase connection have a
phase sequence protection device: If the phase
sequence is incorrect, the power supply is automati

-

cally interrupted.

NOTE!

-  Do not wind load chain around load.

-  Load chain must not be turned in itself.

-  Check the center of gravity of the attachment point

to prevent movement and slippage of the load.

-  Slings (eyelet, chain, etc.) must lie loosely in the

hook base.

-  Hook tip may not be loaded.

-  Close the fuse.

NOTE!

-  The operator must have sufficient freedom of move

ment.

-  The chain hoist must be able to swing freely in the

pulling direction.

-  Lift and lower limit: When the lift limit is reached, the

power automatically shuts off and the load hook
stops immediately.

-  The load hook deforms when overloaded, there is

no brittle breakage.
