Hardware Description
The Front Panel
The Front Panel of the Media-Conver ter/10 Chassis contains 10 slots
for Velocity Series conver ters and one LED for power supply status.
Rear Panel
The 3-pronged power plug, On/Off switch and ventilation fan are
located on the Rear Panel of the Chassis. AC power range is 100-
240VAC, 50-60Hz.

Installing Modular Converters
Remove the blank bracket from the chassis by rotating screw
counterclockwise. Put the blank bracket aside but don’t discard it.
Open the Rackmount Ear Kit (included with the conver ters). The kit
contains two rackmount ears and four screws.
Attach a rackmount ear to both sides of the modular conver ter by
using a screwdriver.
Install the modular conver ter by inser ting it firmly into the guides and
sliding it in until it stops. Ensure the power plug in the chassis
contacts the modular conver ter.
Gently push the thumbscrews in and turn clockwise to tighten.
Do not
over tighten the thumbscrews.
