Before performing any maintenance, adjustment and after you finish your work, disconnect the power cable
from the wall outlet.
Use eye protective goggles. Regular reading or dioptre glasses will not protect you, as they are not strong
enough against impact. They may break and glass particles may injure your eyes.
If you are working in dusty environment, use respirator and dust-protective mask. If you are working with your
machine regularly and for long time each day, use suitable ear protection.
Setting the cutting
width
•
Remove the
protective cover as
shown on picture 1.
•
Remove the double
sided cover as seen
on picture 2.
•
Press the spindle
locking button as
shown on picture 3.
•
Keep the button
depressed. Using
the supplied
wrench, release
the spindle nut as
shown on picture 4.
Observe the wrench
turning direction.
•
Set the desired
cutting width using
the appropriate
number of spacing
rings. See picture 5.
•
Screw the side
handle in and
tighten it securely.
Working without the
side handle installed
is prohibited. Your
machine is very
powerful and if
not held strongly it
may cause severe
injuries to the
operating person.

Setting the cutting depth
•
Release the cutting depth fixing screw 7.
•
Set the desired cutting depth.
•
Tighten the screw securely.
Working with your groove cutter
Before cutting, mark the location of the groove on the wall and make sure that no water or gas piping,
electrical cables or other objects are present along the marked line and within the cutting depth. Only if you
are sure that no such obstacles are present along the marked line you may begin working according to the
procedure described below.
•
Connect the power cable to the wall outlet (230V/50 Hz).
•
Firmly grab both handles of your machine.
•
Press the main switch.
•
Wait until the engine reaches its full speed.
•
Rest the machine on the guiding wheel and guide the blades slowly into the desired cut line.
•
Guide the machine along the marked line and in the direction as marked by the arrow 8. See the detailed
part drawing.
Switching your machine off
•
Lead the cutter out of the cut.
•
Release the trigger and wait until the blades come to a complete stop.
•
Disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet.
•
After you finished your work, clean your machine from dust, inspect protective covers for damages and
make sure all nuts and screws are securely tightened. Store your machine in dry place.
Ventilation opening cleaning
•
Make sure that the ventilation openings are clean and without damages.
•
Use wooden stick or brush with plastic hair for cleaning.
•
Make sure you are not reaching too far inside the machine during cleaning. You may damage inner
electronic parts inside the machine if you reach too far inside with the brush or the wooden stick.
•
Do not use metal object or brushes with steel hair for cleaning.
•
When you cleaned the ventilation openings, vacuum the dirt out, using vacuum-cleaner machine.
•
Keep your tools clean. Dirt may enter the inner mechanism of your machine and cause damage.
•
Do not use aggressive cleaning solution or paint thinners to clean the machine.
•
Clean plastic parts with cloth dipped in soup water.
•
Clean and lubricate metal surfaces with a cloth dipped in paraffin oil.
•
If you are not using your machine, lubricate it with suitable grease and store it in a dry place to prevent
corrosion.
In accordance with the applicable law, carbon brushes and saw blades are considered expandable
material and are not covered by the warranty policy.
