Do not connect the charger to the battery or use it near open fire, heat producing equipment, sparking
devices, smoke sources, vibrating devices or under freezing conditions.
•
If you want to charge battery that is not "maintenance-free" battery, do not forget to open all plugs on
each battery cell.
•
Never try to recharge frozen battery.
•
If you are charging battery inside vehicle, disconnect the battery first. Follow the vehicle manufacturer
instructions.
Connecting the batter y
•
Unpack the equipment from the shipping box.
•
Before use, read this manual entirely.
•
Place the charge at least 1 m away from the battery.
•
Place the clamps so they will not accidentally touch
each other.
•
Now you may connect the charger to the wall
outlet 230V/50Hz, AC.
•
If you connect the battery to the charger before
connecting the charger to the wall outlet you will
damage your machine!
•
Connect the clamps to the battery in the following
order.
•
Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal on the battery.
•
Connect the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal on the battery.
•
Warning.
If you unintentionally change the polarity of the clamps when connecting the battery you may
irreversibly damage your charger and the battery.
•
Warning.
If the clamps touch each other, it may also cause irreversible damage to your machine.
•
Observe the LED indicators.
•
The red LED indicates that the charging process is taking place (around 1.2 A).
•
The green LED will come on after the battery has been fully charged and stays on until you disconnect the
battery from the charger. In this mode, you may let the charger connected to the battery constantly. The
automatic system of your charger lowers the charging current continuously to make up only for the charge
losses due to natural discharge rate of the battery. In this mode the battery is fed with electrical current
about 120 mA. This mode is called maintaining current mode.
•
When the recharging process is finished, disconnect the charge from the wall outlet first and then you
may disconnect the battery.

Before throwing the packaging material out, make sure no part is left inside. If so, take it out and install it.
