All you do to set up the Uniphone 1140 is plug it in! You can also
install a battery if you want to use the Uniphone 1140 during a
power outage. The battery also saves any setting changes, messages,
and directories.

Be sure to use only the power adapter that comes with the
Uniphone 1140.
