Status Indicators
•
After inserting the batteries, all three LEDs will light up briefly and the alarm will beep.
The green LED will then flash once per second for 60 seconds, then transition to
standby operation.
•
During standby operation the green LED power indicator will flash once every 40
seconds.
• When a low battery is detected, the alarm will chirp once every 40 seconds in
conjunction with the yellow LED fault indicator flashing.
• If the alarm is faulty, it will chirp twice every 8 seconds with the yellow LED fault
indicator flashing.

At the alarm’s end of life, it will chirp 3 times every 40 seconds with the yellow LED
fault indicator flashing.
• If the alarm is sounding to indicate dangerous exposure to carbon monoxide, the alarm
will behave as described in the Alarm Signals section.
•
When a CO alarm incident is silenced the red LED alarm indicator will continue to flash.
• When a low battery, fault, or end of life warning is silenced the yellow LED fault
indicator will continue to flash.
