WORK AREA

·

Keep work area clean, free of clutter and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause accidents.

·

Keep children and bystanders away while using the ramp. Distractions can cause you to lose control,

so visitors should remain at a safe distance from the work area.

·

Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other mechanical hazards in your work
area, particularly those hazards below the work surface hidden from the operator’s view that may be
unintentionally contacted and may cause personal harm or property damage.

·

Be alert of your surroundings. Using a ramp in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to

cutting tools and rotating parts.

PERSONAL SAFETY

•

Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask,

non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce

personal injuries.

•

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the ramp

in unexpected situations.

•

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from

moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

USE AND CARE

·

Use the right ramp for the job. Do not attempt to force a small ramp to do the work of a larger industrial

ramp. There are certain applications for which this ramp was designed. Do not modify this ramp and

do not use this product for a purpose for which it was not intended.

·

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not set up and use the ramp when you

are tired.

·

Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged should be carefully

checked  to  determine  that  it  will  operate  properly  and  perform  its  intended  function.  Check  for

alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition

that may affect proper operation.

NOTE:  Dents  or  other  imperfections  in  the  aluminum  ramp  may  lead  to  a  weakening  of  the

structural strength of this product; do not use the ramp if this type of damage is noted.

OPERATION

WARNING: All persons not involved in the loading process must stand clear of the loading

ramp.

WARNING: Make sure the vehicle which you are loading into is turned off, in park, with the

emergency brake engaged.
