3. Light bulbs are available from commercial retailers.

Mounting the cycle rack on the vehicle
1. Open the cover of the bag (18)

2. Push down the securing lever (11) so that the receptacle (10)
opens out.
3. Holding the cycle rack (1) vertically, push the receptacle (20)
onto the ball of the towbar (19).
4. Tilt the cycle rack (1) downwards until you hear the securing
lever (11) engage.
Ensure the red mark on the securing lever (11) is no longer
visible.
5. Check the cycle rack (1) is parallel to the bumper and is aligned
roughly parallel to the ground.
Check the cycle rack (1) is secure by shaking it back and forth.
If necessary, remove the cycle rack (1) and reinstall it.

Caution
The towbar must be suitable for attachment of a cycle rack:
•
D-value of tow ball (see “Technical data” on page 11)
• The towbar material must be at least St 52-3 (see type plate
on towbar)
If it is not, the cycle rack may become loose along with
the mounted bicycles, thereby injuring other persons or
causing accidents.
Clean and degrease the tow ball prior to mounting.

Caution
The change in vehicle dimensions (width, height, depth) when
driving with the cycle rack can lead to injuries to yourself and
other persons and/or damage to property if due caution is not
exercised.
Pay attention to the change in your vehicle’s dimensions when
entering driveways or passing through gaps. Extra caution is
required when reversing.
Caution
Check the lighting device is in perfect working order prior to
each journey, otherwise accidents may be caused.
4. The bag is available as an optional extra (order no. 19840 for
Uebler i21 cycle rack, for cycle rack Uebler i31 order no. 19850).
