Upon request, responsible authorities or authorised maintenance ser-
vices receive a “Test instruction for metrological inspection“ from the
manufacturer.
Important: No modifications, e.g. opening the unit, may be made to
this unit without the manufacturer’s prior permission.
Please only submit the device for metrological inspection together
with the cuff and the instructions for use.
• The unit contains sensitive parts and must be protected against
strong variations in temperature, air humidity, dust and direct sun-
light.
• Make sure when storing the unit that no heavy objects are left ly-
ing on the unit or on the cuff and that the air hose is not kinked.
• If the unit becomes dirty during use, use a soft, dry cloth to clean
the unit. Do not use benzene, thinners or other strong solvents.
• To disinfect the device and the diaphragm of the stethoscope, we
advise using Mikrozid Sensitive Liquid to avoid damage to the syn-
thetic material and the sight glass.
• Do not scrub or machine-wash the cuff. If the cuff gets dirty during
use, use a synthetic cleaner and softly rub the surface.
• After removing the air pocket, the case of the cuff can be washed
at 30 °C. To reinsert the air pocket, feed the air tube through the air
tube opening from the inside. Make sure that the air pocket with
the longer end is pulled through the cuff first. Please ensure that
the air pocket is placed into the cuff without any folds and creases.
• To disinfect the cuff, we recommend using a disinfection spray
with 70% isopropyl.
• If the unit has been opened, it must be subjected to a metrological
inspection conducted by an authorised organisation.
• Make sure that liquid cannot get into the air hose. Dry thoroughly.
• The unit is not water-proof.
• If the device has been stored at temperatures below 10°C or above
40°C, allow it to stand at room temperature for at least 2 hours
before using it.
