Powering the UniFi AP
The UAP‑XG features auto‑sensing 802.3bt PoE support and
can be powered by any 802.3bt PoE compliant switch.
To power the UniFi AP, connect the Ethernet cable from the
UniFi AP directly to a PoE+ port on the switch.

Note:
If you do not have an 802.3bt PoE compliant
switch, use the included Gigabit PoE adapter to power
the UniFi AP as follows:
1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the 10 GbE port of
the UAP-XG to a 10 GbE (or 1 GbE) switch port.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the 1 GbE port of
the UAP‑XG to the adapter’s PoE port.
3. Connect the Power Cord to the adapter’s power
port. Connect the other end of the Power Cord to a
power outlet.
