Connecting Power Using PoE

The following instructions show the PoE In / eth0 port; however,
you can use the PoE In port above eth0 instead. You can also use
both ports for additional PoE output power.
1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the PoE In / eth0 port of the

EdgePoint.

2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the POE port

on the Gigabit PoE adapter.

3. Connect an Ethernet cable from the LAN to the LAN port on

the Gigabit PoE adapter.

4. Connect the Power Cord to the Gigabit PoE adapter. Then plug

the Power Cord into a power outlet.
