10.3 Post-Installation Checks 

Configure tailBeaconX-EX before performing system checkouts. 
Tab to the “Monitor”          screen on the Installer App. 
 

Verify that Status is listed as “OK”. 

Information on status annunciations 

described in Section 11 can be 

found here. 

 

Verify that the Call Sign matches 

your aircraft’s Tail Number. 

 

Verify that the ICAO number is 

correct as entered. 

 

Verify Squawk code matches the 

squawk input on the control EFIS or 

AV-20-E or AV-30-E. 

 

 

 

 

 
Note: You may need to power cycle the tailBeaconX after configuration for 

the correct Monitor information to populate.
