Attach the Loader Fitting (10) of the Grease Gun to the Filler Valve on the lubri-
cant container.  (See Figures A and B.)

3.

Operate the Filler Pump on the lubricant container to fill the Barrel (3) of the
Grease Gun.  (See Figures A and B.)

4.

        CAUTION!   Make sure to read and understand all safety warnings and
instructions as outlined in the owner’s manual of the Filler Pump.

5.

When the Plunger Rod (7) automatically extends out from the rear of the
Barrel (3) about 8 inches, the Barrel is filled.  (See Figures A and B.)

6.

Disconnect the Grease Gun from the Filler Valve on the lubricant container.
Then, depress the Release Latch (8) and push the Plunger Rod (7) forward all
the way into the Barrel.  (See Figures A and B.)

TO EXPEL AIR POCKETS IN THE BARREL

1.

Depress the Release Latch (8), and slowly push the Plunger Rod (7) forward
toward the Barrel (3).  While pushing the Plunger Rod forward, depress the Air
Release Valve (9) on the Grease Gun.  This allows excess air to escape from the
Barrel.  (See Figure A.)

2.

Continue pushing the Plunger Rod (7) forward while depressing the Air Release
Valve (9) until all excess air is expelled from the Barrel (3).  Then, release pres-
sure on the Air Release Valve.  (See Figure A.)

TO OPERATE THE GREASE GUN

1.

NOTE:  ALWAYS clean the grease fitting carefully and completely with a clean
cloth prior to inserting the Grease Gun’s Coupler (5) onto the grease fitting.  (See
Figure A.)

2.

Insert the Coupler (5) of the Grease Gun 

fully onto the clean grease fitting of the

object you are lubricating.  (See Figure A.)

3.

With one hand, hold the Barrel (3) securely.  With the other hand, pump the
Handle (1) of the Grease Gun several times or until a small amount of grease
begins to flow back out of the grease fitting.  (See Figure A.)
