ASSEMBLY CONTINUED

STEP 4: INSTALL HANdRAIL EXTENSION PANELS

1. Install handrail extension panels (E) into support

tubes located on the side of the 20" or 30" deep top.

(See Figure 2, Step 3)

2. Clamp the handrail extension panels to the side

handrails using handrail extension clamps and

⁄

-16 x 2" hex head cap screws and self-locking nuts.

(See Figure 2, Step 4)

STEP 5: INSTALL REAR HANdRAIL BAR

3. detach rear handrail bar (C) from under a step by

clipping orange ties.

4. Insert notched bushing into each end of rear

handrail bar (C).

5. Position rear handrail bar between mounting holes

of side handrails (A) & (B). Attach using (2) ¼-20 x 2 ¾"

hex head cap screws. (See Figure 2, Step 5)

NOTE: You may now tighten all handrail bolts.

STEP 6: LEvEL LAddER

1. Stand ladder upright on level surface.

2. Activate safelock by stepping on trip bar located in

front of first step.

3. Make sure ladder rests level on the crutch tips and

rubber bumpers.

4. When steps are level, tighten all bolts.

NOTE: DO NOT proceed until ladder is stable.
