OPERATING ISSUE
CAUSES
RECOMMENDATIONS
Unit does not power on
when battery is inserted.
Battery is not fully inserted
into the cradle.
Pins are broken, stuck or
missing.
Ensure battery is fully inserted into the
cradle. If fully inserted and unit is still
not powering on, check pins as noted
in next potential cause.
Check pins in battery cradle. Replace
any broken pins and ensure the
broken pins are not stuck in battery.
Battery is not holding a
charge.
Wall power outlet may not
be good.
The charger cord needs to
be inspected.
Pins are broken, stuck or
missing.
Turn power on unit and verify fuel
gauge illuminates. If it does, the unit is
good. Otherwise, use another power
outlet.
Check the A/C charger cord by
performing a voltage test. If there
is an issue, the cord needs to be
replaced.
Check pins in battery cradle. Replace
any broken pins and ensure the
broken pins are not stuck in battery.
Unit only lifts on one side.
Long rods may have come
unbolted.
Check long rods under forks to
ensure they have not come unbolted.
Reattach as needed.
Deadman Switch Error F2,1
Deadman switch needs to
be adjusted or replaced.
Ensure handle is completely upright
when turning on unit. Adjust or
replace deadman switch as needed.
Emergency Reverse Switch
Error F2,2
Red emergency reverse
button is jammed.
Check red emergency reverse button
and ensure it is not wedged in place.
