• Removing, adding and de-installing the Smart Office Keyboard software:
Once you have installed the software, the blue-red "Ez" icon appears on the right-hand side of the
taskbar.
To remove the software, right-click on this icon and select "Close". Select "Yes" in the next dialog
to
remove the software. Alternatively, you can open the Control Panel
à
Settings
à
Software and
add or
remove the Smart Office Keyboard software there. After removing the software, restart your PC to
ensure
that all driver components are deleted.
• Other applications cannot be installed correctly:
The Smart Office Keyboard software may cause this. Remove this software as described above,
install your
new application and then install the Smart Office Keyboard software again.
• The commands in the OSD appear very slowly:
This is caused by a slow CD-ROM drive. You should use at least a quad-speed drive.
• "Next track" and "Previous track" do not work:
Pressing one of these keys should cause the CD Player to move to the next or previous track. If this
does not
work, the reason is that your CD-ROM drive is too slow. We recommend that you use at least a
quad-speed.
• CD Player or Video Player cannot be started:
Ensure that the software supplied with these devices was installed correctly.
• VCD titles or MPEG files cannot be played back:
Install the Windows Media Player 7, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft® website.
• Some of the short-cut keys cannot be assigned:
The Smart Office Keyboard driver uses some of the resources of the operating system. The
following five key
combinations cannot be used: CTRL+ALT+E, CTRL+ALT+P, CTRL+ALT+0, CTRL+ALT+D,
CTRL+ALT+C
