lid

rapidly

You
now
have

minutes
to
perform
a
walk
test.
The
red
LED
will
flash
once
when
movement
is
detected.
NOTE:

no
radio
transmissions
during
a
walk
test.
At
the
end
of
the
walk
test
period
the
red
LED
will
flash
rapidly
8
times.
The
PIR
is
now
in
normal
operating
mode
and
the
LED
will
NOT
flash
when
movement
is
detected.
Tamper
Switch
When
the
PIR
lid
is
removed
the
tamper
switch
will
operate
and
transmit
an
alarm
signal.
This
will
also
check
the
battery
condition
(and
report
an
alarm
if
low)
to
assist
Service
Engineers.
The
tamper
switch
should
be
activated
when
learning
the
PIR
onto
the
SayPhone,
Reach,
Advent
xt
or
Altec
Response.

If
