3. Disconnect the fan cables.
3.3.2 Replacing the Motherboard
After removing all of those cables, follow these instructions to
remove the motherboard from the chassis.
1. Remove the heat sinks and processors if installed.
2. Remove the nine screws that secure the motherboard to
the chassis.
3. Carefully lift the motherboard from the chassis.
NOTE: The motherboard is too large to lift straight out. Lift the
front edge of the motherboard up to an angle of about 45º.
Then slide the motherboard out, front end first.
