3.2

Replacing JBOD Components

Follow these instructions to replace JBOD components, including the expander
board, Front Panel Board, Power Distribution Board, fan module, and HDD
Backplane Board.

3.2.1 Replacing Expander Board

Before replacing the expander board, remove cables connected to the
expander board. Follow these instructions to remove all cables.

1.

Disconnect all cables.

2.

Remove the 4 screws securing the expander board to the chassis.
Carefully lift the board from the chassis.

3.

Follow the procedures described earlier in reverse order to reinstall the
expander board.
