Quick Note:
Make sure to setup your mail environment before sending or receiving
email. Please refer to section 3.8.3 on Page 3-14 on instructions to setup
TVsurf to send and receive email.
5.2 Writing a mail
You may begin writing a new mail by selecting the Write option on the
mail menu. When you want to manually key in addresses or write a mail,
press [GO] button or the [Enter] key and a text box will appear. Type in
the addresses or message. Pressing the [Menu/Input] key on the wireless
keyboard or [Exit] on the software keyboard will confirm entry and get
back to the mail screen. Refer to section "5.8 Sending a mail" for more
details.
5.3 Receiving a mail
5.3.1 Mail listing
By selecting New or Received, the list of new or received mails appears.
When New is selected, new mails are downloaded from the server.
Columns
Icons for unread mail, name of sender, date and time mail was sent, and
titles are indicated.
Order of mail
The mail received most recently is shown at the top. When the listing of
the mail is more than what the screen allows, the [Next] button appears
and the next page can be accessed by selecting that button.
Deletion of mail
A mail can be deleted from the listing. By checking the Delete box and
clicking the [Delete] button, checked mail will be deleted all together. If
all the mail should be deleted, select the [Delete_All] button.
