Flow measurement
Select the required size nozzle and connect it to the NFM3 quick-
release fitting. If required, use the extension hose.
Insert the arc welding torch nozzle into the NFM3 nozzle, ensuring
a good fit. Make sure the NFM3 is unit switched ‘On’ and the correct
gas type is selected.
Press the ‘Gas Purge’ button on the arc welding set. Once the flow
has stabilised, read the flow in Litres per minute on the NFM3
screen. Once the gas stops flowing, the NFM3 screen will revert to
the small screen and display the peak flow, this is indicated with a
‘PK’ next to the flow reading.
