O2 and CO2 measurement ranges:
NB:
The
analysis
pod
is
NOT
designed
to
measure
any
concentrations of of O2 greater than 20.9%. Using the GFM2 on
higher O2% mixes is not approved.
The measured gas concentrations are displayed on the screen. Logging
and reporting are the same as GFM2 (outlined above in the sections
above).
As with any measurement equipment the analysis pod requires time to
achieve an accurate measurement. The T95 time is 120 seconds when
using the set flow rate.
3.1
Field Calibration
The analysis pod is factory calibrated; however, additional field calibration
is included to maintain optimum operation.
To perform the field calibration an O2 and CO2 free gas, e.g. pure Argon
or pure Nitrogen, should be purged through the system. The purge should
be run for at least five minutes before the field calibration is performed.
Once the purge is complete, while the gas is still running at the set flow
rate, press and hold the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons for around three seconds.
The screen will show ‘Zero Complete’.
Release the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’
buttons. The field calibration is now complete, and the purge gas can be
removed.
