Firmware Upgrades and Personalization

The Elite 800X is a highly programmable, microprocessor-based headset, designed to accept firmware upgrades from the

Windows and Mac Ear Force Audio Hubs.

Firmware upgrades

You can check to see that you have the latest, most advanced firmware at

www.turtlebeach.com/Elite800X.

To upgrade the Elite 800X, connect the Headset to a computer using the USB Programming Cable and then connect the

Transmitter using the USB Transmitter Cable. Follow the instructions on the website for downloading and upgrading the firmware.

NOTE:

The operation of upgraded and/or personalized headsets may not completely match the operations described in

this manual.

Download the Ear Force Audio Hub app to wirelessly change presets on the fly using your Android™ mobile phone or tablet.

Future Turtle Beach Companion Apps may provide additional opportunities to customize and control your Elite 800X headset.
