There are 2 methods to mount the chains to
the rafters/purlins
Method 1 =
Wrap the chain around the purlin at
each mount point.
•
Use a quick connect link to connect the
chain together once it is wrapped around
the purlin
Method 2 =
Put an eye bolt in the purlin, drill
and secure eye bolts at each marked point.
•
Use a quick connect link to attach the chain
to the eye hook.

Determine the chain drop lengths required to
hang from the ceiling to the fan at the required
height.
NOTE:
Fan is to be hung at a 30-degree angle
so the chain length will be longer at the
back by approx. 0.75 m - 1.0 m (2’ 6” – 3’
3”) compared to the front.
Allow some extra chain to make sure
you can adjust down if necessary.
If using Method 1, leave enough length
to wrap the chain around the purlin.
