12 Putting the device into operation

3. If the device is not powered by PoE or PoE+ (PoE switch), connect the

12 V DC power adaptor to the power jack [1] ] (figure 63) and to a 230 V
socket.

✔

The device is starting up. The ComStation

app login screen appears

automatically. The ComStation

is ready for operation.

CAUTION!

Only use the 12 V DC power adaptor included in the

scope of delivery. Use of another power adapter may damage
the unit.

CAUTION!

DO NOT switch off the device during system start-up

or when updating the firmware. Doing so may damage the
firmware.
