5.3 Disc cultivator adjustments
•
When tine cultivator’s working depth is adjusted, the disc cultivator working depth is adjusted
by limiting the cylinder movement (picture 8) which determines the working angle of the
cultivating elements. The rigging screws between the disc rows are set to right position in the
factory and usually those are not needed to be adjusted.

During work the disc cultivator working depth can be reduced and increased back to the set
value, when the machine’s electric switch is turned on and tractor hydraulics are used (picture
9).

To reduce the ridge formation to the sides the disc cultivator has been equipped with side
disc and spring tines (pictures 10 and 11).
• When disc’s working depth is adjusted, also their lateral position is changed. This can be
compensated by moving the front disc row to left or right by rotating an adjustment screw
(picture 12).
