TACHYMETER FUNCTION
The bezel on your watch has a tachymeter function use to measure
a speed or a flow rate using the chronograph function.
Select the desired unit of measurement (meter, kilometer, mile,
liter, etc.), activate the chronograph and stop it when the desired unit
is reached. The center seconds hand indicates the number of units
per hour on the tachymeter scale.
EXAMPLE: MEASURING SPEED
A car covers a distance of 1 km in 31 seconds. When the chronograph
is stopped (on 31 seconds), the center seconds hand indicates 116
on the tachymeter scale. The unit being the kilometer, the car’s speed
is 116 km/h.
