8 Error Handling, Faults and Repairing
8.1 Error Handling
8.1.1 First Action
If the device does not operate as expected the first step is always to check if the battery is fresh. Low battery LED
indication should indicate if the battery level is too low, but if you detect malfunction do always replace the battery
as the first step to get back to normal operation.
8.1.2 No Radio Communication
S-2CONNECT Sense use Bluetooth LE for communication with S-2CONNECT Hub. Check that S-2CONNECT Sense is
within radio communication distance from the S-2CONNECT Hub.
Other radio frequency devices may disturb the communication between S-2CONNECT Sense and S-2CONNECT Hub.
Try to move the units to another area if you suspect this might be the case.
8.2 Faults and Repairing
Faulty devices shall always be replaced. Do not try to repair the unit. The unit is sealed and cannot be opened without de-
stroying the device.
