2-10) Prepare the transformer for installation by removing the protective tape and cardboard ring from the threaded post. Unknot the
transformer wires and make sure that you will be able to remove the nuts without catching them on the wires or having to place undue
stress on the wires. Remove the two hex nuts and star washer from the threaded mounting shaft:
2-11) Thread one of the two hex nuts back on to the transformer. No need to make it extra tight – snug will do:
2-12) With the PCB facing front side towards you, pass all of the wires through the grommet hole in the PCB, followed by the threaded post
on the transformer. Once you have the transformer seated so that the hex nut is fush against the front of the PCB, install the star washer,
then the second hex nut onto the threaded post of the transformer. Again, just past snug is plenty of holding power with the star washer
installed:
