4 SAFETY REGULATIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE AND USER OBLIGATIONS
The whole of this chapter must ALWAYS be read before carrying out any maintenance operation and when
using the machine for the first time.
NON-AUTHORISED PERSONS ARE FORBIDDEN TO STAND IN THE MACHINE WORKING RANGE.
1.
Refuse container:
- Never stand below the refuse container when raised or near it during emptying.
- When servicing or inspecting the container, secure the locking lever below the container.
2.
Fire:
- Only perform cleaning operations in premises provided with fire-fighting systems.
- Do not smoke on board and near the machine.
- Do not collect red-hot material (cigarette ends, burning paper, etc.).
- In the event of fire inside the container, do not open the cover: direct the extinguisher nozzle
inside the container via the filter.
- Switch the engine off before opening the bonnet.
3.

- Reduce the speed when travelling uphill/downhill and on bends and in particular when the
container is full.
- Be careful not to press the forward pedal by mistake with the engine on.

- All maintenance operations must be performed with the machine at a standstill after
disconnecting the power supply.
- Before charging the battery, read the directions in the instruction manual.
5.
Prolonged use of the machine:
- If the environment is dusty, use an appropriate mask for nose and mouth.
- Use ear defenders for internal combustion engine models.

5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION AND SERVICING - RECOMMENDATIONS
N.B.: Before proceeding with any routine or extraordinary maintenance operation, carefully read the chapter
entitled: “SAFETY REGULATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE”.
The routine maintenance programme is established on the basis of optimum machine conditions, the machine
operating mode and the environment in which it is normally used. It is therefore essential to establish and follow
a regular inspection and maintenance programme.
TSM Srl declines all responsibility for injury to persons and/or damage to things resulting from failure to follow
the above instructions or irregular and/or incorrect use of the machine.
