Starting and Testing the Recorder
Press any button – the indicator turns on. Insert memory
card (a memory box prepared for appropriate operation
of the device is included into the package box) with
bond ponds up into the connector (position 16). After
memory card has been scanned and recognized the
device is ready to start operating. Set the frame on the
indicator (an outline round the memory card’s icon) for
the card inserted into the connector (position 16) with
the “Fn” button. To start recording move the “Rec-Stop”
Switch to “Rec” position. To stop the recording move the
Switch to “Stop” position. Remove memory card. Copy
the following directory from the shipped Software CD
onto the drive: \Miniature Audio-and-Video recorders\
MAVR H264x4\Manager\ v1.00. Connect memory card
to the PC via card-reader. Run mavr_h264х4_v1.00
program. Choose “Setting” tab. Click on “Setting”.
In the appeared window browse for the directory of
memory card and the path to save the records. Shift
to “Conversion” tab and click on “Scanning”. All the
recordings will be displayed on the screen. Select the
required ones and press the button “Conversion”. An
mp4 file will be saved in the folder specified. The file
can be played back by Windows Media Player player
if H.264 codec is installed in the system (for instance
K-Lite Codec pack (www.codecguide.com)).
