1. Press the MENU button three times: the
current VOX setting – “OF”, “1”, “2” or “3” - will
flash on the display with the VOX icon.
2. Press UP

button to set the VOX sensitivity
level. - There are three levels – 1, 2, 3. Level 3
is the highest sensitivity level
3. Press DOWN

button until “OF” appears on the
display to turn off VOX
4. Press the PTT button to confirm VOX level
chosen and return to standby mode.
5. VOX Operation is not recommended if you use
your device in a noisy or windy environment.
NOTE:
VOX mode will be overridden when you
press the PTT button.

CHANNEL SCAN
Channel Scan is useful to scan the available CB
channels to either find who is transmitting nearby
or to find a free channel to transmit on.
1. Press and hold the UP

button 2 seconds. The
“SCAN” function indicator will appear on the
LCD screen display and the channel will scan
continuously. Once an active channel is found,
the scanning will stop and you can listen to the
transmission.
2. When the transmission on the found channel
stops, the scanning will resume automatically.
NOTE: If you press PTT button while listening to a
found channel, the device will go back to standby
mode on the found channel.
