Place
UserGuard
card
onto
Kill
Box/Authentication
Unit
CAC
reader.
2.
Using
the
number
pad,
enter
PIN
and
press
“ENTER”.
(Default
PIN
is
7747)
3.
Wait
approx.
5
‐
10
seconds
for
system
to
activate.
Blue
LED
“Kill
Button”
located
on
front
of
Kill
Box
will
light
up
when
active.
4.
When
finished
with
secure
session,
remove
card
from
Kill
Box/Authentication
Unit
reader
and
system
will
disconnect.
Blue
LED
“Kill
Button”
light
will
turn
off
when
disconnected.
5.
If
system
automatically
times
out
due
to
lack
of
motion
or
is
manually
disconnected
using
the
“Kill
Button”,
user
must
remove
card
and
wait
approx.
10
seconds
for
system
to
reset
before
attempting
to
reactivate
the
system
using
steps
1
to
3
above.
NOTE:
ONCE
3
WRONG
PIN
ATTEMPTS
HAVE
BEEN
MADE,
THE
SYSTEM
WILL
DISENROLL
THE
CARD.

1.
If
wrong
PIN
is
entered
or
system
does
not
activate,
remove
CAC
card
from
reader
and
wait
approx.
10
seconds
before
trying
again.
This
will
allow
the
system
to
reset.
2.
The
motion
sensor
auto
timeout
factory
default
is
set
to
30
seconds.
If
system
times
out
intermittently
while
user
is
present,
increase
the
timer
setting
using
the
small
adjustment
dial
located
on
the
rear
of
the
Kill
Box.
3.
If
system
activates
but
video
does
not
display,
check
that
monitor
has
not
entered
power
save
mode.
Many
DVI/HDMI
monitors
enter
power
save
mode
when
not
active.

SENSOR:
The
Motion
sensor
has
a
range
of
approximately
6
‐
10ft
with
a
60
degree
arc.
Do
not
place
anything
between
the
motion
sensor
and
user.
If
not
required,
the
motion
sensor
can
be
deactivated
by
placing
the
ON/OFF
switch
in
the
down
(0)
position
and/or
unplugging
the
9V
power
adapter.
