7. Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause

Soundcard not found
following installation.
Card not secured properly.
Check that the soundcard has been
inserted properly into the PCI slot of
the computer.
Drivers not installed or not
correctly installed.

Speakers not connected.
Connect the speakers as described in

IRQ Conflict
Restart the computer. If the IRQ
Conflict is still there, solve IRQ Conflict

No Sound
Volume not turned on

Wrong speaker output selected

SPDIF Out can not be
enabled
New Windows release
Support for Digital Output could not be
working in newer version of Microsoft
